Description

It's ANZAC Day soon here in Australia and in New Zealand - 25th April. When I lived in England, we also commerorated the valiant efforts of our Australian and New Zealander brothers in the ill-fated Gallipoli Campaign, their baptism of fire as a unit. Of course, ANZAC Day commemorates the sacrifices made by Australians and New Zealanders in all wars since then, too.

"One hundred and fifty men of the 8th Light Horsemen jumped out of the trench but were all mown down within 30 seconds, sinking to the ground as though their limbs suddenly became string. They were waiting, ready for us and simply gave us a solid wall of lead.
