If you hear some spooky background noises in this track that's because it started out as a spooky soundtrack kind of track, then I started messing with the Logic Pro X hard rock guitar and basically ramped every control (gain, tone, flanger, drive reverb) up to max, and did something weird in EQ...then added some punk drum sounds...and upped the volume on everything.
OMG, I created a monster! Earlier this evening I was watching BBC First's 'The Frankenstein Chronicles'...that probably had something to do with it!
