Time is an illusion. At light speed, time ceases to be. There's a lot of light in the darkness of the void.
A particle of light - yes, a photon - can travel an infinite distance in zero time.
Of course, to an observer, time is real and light travels at a constant speed (in a vacuum) - 186,000 miles a second. And of what use is an illusion without an observer?
