I was thinking about Syria...all the suffering. I couldn't think of anything useful to say in the face of such industrial scale devastation, so I'll leave that there.
And to be honest, I like heavy music, and dark music...and this is both. I added the Middle Eastern sounds to reflect the darkness of my thoughts there. Maybe I'm just drawn to it...dunno.
In the end I decided to dedicate the track to those who suffer for their art. So there we are...a mish mash of dark thoughts led to my creating this track. I hope you get something out of it!
