I started out building a track with some synth sounds hoping to create something spacey, but it soon took on a psychedelic trance feel. I was enjoying where the creative process took me, so I built on that.
Apart from the obvious 'empty head' interpretation, I think the title fits either way musically, as dance genres like trance are all about feeling and movement and nothing much to do with what's going on inside your head. Or, taking the other meaning, I'm always thinking about space.
Mostly created in Blocswave using two separate sets of pads, but then I really messed around trying to find suitable loops which I then edited the hell out of and arranged for your pleasure!
