Description

On this episode of Prepare to Win we discuss the fear that comes from approaching success. Too often, we work with athletes (of various backgrounds and sports) that begin to reach a turning point in their training. This turning point is the first true step towards their success as an athlete. It is also one of the hardest moments mentally for any athlete. It shows if this person is deeply committed to growing and succeeding as an athlete. This point or mental hardship can be seen also in business and life, in general. It has been a topic that we talk about often. It is one of the greatest attributes to the growth that we’ve seen over the last 5 years as business owners.

Show Topics:
1. Getting deterred by fear as an individual approaches a certain level of success.
2. It’s not a sacrifice, it’s just life.
3. Being passionate vs being interested

Q&A:
1. What are some tips or recommendations for dealing with a pec minor strain from benching?
2. What causes “tight” muscles? Also, how and when you should correct them?
3. Focus in training is the difference between average and elite. Prove me wrong.
