Saturday night after the Burn, an off-the-books gathering took shape. A few reschedules, a few friends stepped in, and the music carried us through the dark hours into sunrise. @jonathankaspar opened the journey.
“The night of my first Robot Heart set is still vivid in my mind. It was the last night of my Burn 2025. We met at the camp, started the engines of the art car, and drove out onto the playa, deep into the glittering darkness, leaving the city behind.
The desert felt endless and for a while we just cruised through the dust looking for the right place to stop and find a small moment of stillness before the music would take over.
When we finally parked and the sound system came alive, the night already had that slightly surreal energy to it, and my set unfolded somewhere within that space. Trippy, playful, and a little twisted, drifting between hypnotic grooves and strange psychedelic turns. I completely fell in love with the immersive, crispy sound of the Robot Heart speakers and found my place beneath the heart, which was conquered by glowing dancers.
Moments like this are what make Robot Heart so special to me, a moving dancefloor in the middle of nowhere, where the night can stretch endlessly and the music becomes part of the landscape. This recording captures a very personal piece of that moment, one I’ll carry with me forever.”
