'After a highly successful first run of the year featuring Mexico's Hotmood, I've been itching to work with internationals again, Gary was no exception. It was long overdue, Chuggin's got new songs and inspirations we've both been dying to get behind and share with South African ears and the world. And with the launch of his new label Slightly Transformed, this was the perfect opportunity to share new music and some die-hard favourites. Gary is like a brother to me and arguably my biggest inspiration and mentor, I love working with him' says Kongisto about the mix and Chuggin Edits.
Label owner, producer and DJ, Chuggin Edits, is no stranger to the depth and infectious groove of slow mo as a genre and relentlessly continues to deliver on scorching, floor banging edits, inspired by the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, Loose Change, and Stephanie Mills to name a few. His production credits include Slightly Transformed(his own label), Deep Sense, FKR, Alpaca Edits and Masterworks Music (again, to name a few).
