Johannesburg-based, Slow Mo Lounge founder, Kongisto, has released the 2nd annual 'Festive Disco'.
It's a South African Dezemba and some homes still listen to soul and disco amongst other local-inspired genres. This infusion has led to a nu-disco blend (by Kongisto) of the Christmas classics we've grown up around.
Kongisto says: 'In South African homes, disco never grows old, we're still listening to Letta Mbulu, Mtume, Barry White, Joe Mafela and Toto, incidentally some of the same songs I've used to select and play some truly festive edits for my own mix. I hope you enjoy it.'
