Can something threedimensional be considered photography? Do photographs admit materiality? Dries Segers answers these questions affirmatively. If he works at the intersection of various media and artistic disciplines, he positively considers himself a photographer. The outcome of his work is always photography to a larger extend. His new show 'No road to Hotel Bellevue' runs from 15 October until 21 November 2020 in DMW Gallery in Antwerp, which takes the concept of 'border trees' as an evocative point of departure.
