Description

From selling gum and paper tissues to building valuable relations in the world of sports. Kay Mourheg is part of a family business called Capelli.

He started as entrepreneur when he was 6 years. In his summer holidays in Lebanon he sold every day items to his family and guests. Later on he kickstarted his career in the fashion industry together with his brother. Through his family he joined Capelli New York and now he is responsible for Capelli Europe. In his daily work Kay and his team have direct contact with football clubs all over Europe. Meanwhile they build the bridge between the USA and Europe with their Cedar Stars football academy. Now over 4.000 USA talents show their skills at their academies.

For Kay, it’s about building a network of services for their customers rather than seen as an outfitter. In Europe it started off with the FC Würzburger Kickers and MSV Duisburg, and now they are active in the Champions League. Not only as an outfitter. But Kay is realistic, he calls it ‘being reasonable’.

Capelli is in control of the complete chain from idea to production to delivery. With own factories they can deliver constant quality and at the same time being flexible in colours, delivery time and quantities.

Capelli almost made it to the World Cup 2022, that would have been a highlight for them. Not only for the company, but also as a family.
