As we are gathering around tables in the Social Hall and on Zoom in April, we’re going to seize the opportunity to talk about environmental stewardship.
In our Biblical story, the very first job God gives humanity is to “take charge – care – of the fish of the sea, the birds in the sky, and everything crawling on the ground.”
Environmental stewardship is literally job #1. And that job is going to push us in the decades ahead. It’s not about saving the planet. The planet will still be here, but will we? That’s the problem.
The solution? We need to work together, but we are divided. The goal of the weeks ahead is to have transformative and healing conversations that can save us.
