Worship Series It's the End of the World As We Know It
There’s an old phrase that says, “Eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we shall die.” (It's an amalgamation of two passages of scripture; one from Ecclesiastes and the other from Isaiah.)
What do you think of that phrase? How would you live if you knew that life as you know it would end tomorrow?
This was a question that the early church often asked themselves, and in our worship service we are going to turn to lessons from then and in our own time to find Christmas hope.
