The third Sunday in Advent is traditionally known as Gaudate Sunday, and it's theme is Joy.
For some of us, joy does not come easily during the holidays. And, with so many things to worry about in our world today, finding joy might seem an impossible task.
Then we come to church and hear about the end of the world! What?!
Despite the challenges and hardships in our world today, the hope of Christmas is one of new life and new opportunity, despite the challenges. It's not only possible, it's God's promise to us.
Join us as we light the candle of Joy this Sunday.
