Arup Dasgupta is the Managing Editor of Geospatial World magazine. He has more than 50 years of experience in satellite communications, remote sensing and Geospatial systems and applications. He has worked in the Space Applications Centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for 34 years and was an adjunct faculty in CEPT University and DAIICT. He is a Life Senior Member IEEE, Fellow IETE, Fellow ISG, Life Member INCA and ISRS. He is the recipient of several national awards from professional societies.
