The same day a rumour about hockey legend Wayne Gretzky's imminent retirement from the game of hockey, the station I worked at received a faxed news release that had his dad’s home number on it.
Was it a joke? Would Wayne have told his dad about his retirement plans from hockey? Was that really the home number of the parents of number 99?
