I tried something new with this song. Last year I posted an open call on my instagram stories for newcomer Iranian rappers who feel like outcasts to send me a verse they recorded. I received around 15. Shalou stood out among them with his poetry, attitude and work ethic, and I produced this song for us to collaborate. A young rapper from the Southern city of Bushehr, who implemented the Southern Farsi dialect into his verse. The song faced many hurdles - including me being stuck in Istanbul for three months because of Covid-19 - but finally here it is.
