I wanted to encapsulate everything I love about the different eras and sub-genres of trance in this mix. From classic big room trance moments, to more functional tools that are subtly influenced by trance or pull from it in some small way, I tried to include everything that Iām currently inspired by within the 1.5 hours. The mix slowly builds in terms of speed and energy, and then finishes in a similar place that it started, which tends to be how I generally approach a dj set.
