About Rachel:
A life-long actor and musician, and a voice-over artist for more than 15 years, Rachel launched her now award winning audiobook career after training with renowned director Paul Alan Ruben. She has narrated more than 200 books across many genres including YA, middle grade, horror, non-fiction, and more, and romance as her psuedonym Rose Dioro. One of her most recent releases, Everyone Is Lying To You by acclaimed author, journalist, and podcaster Jo Piazza, was recently chosen as an Applebooks Staff pick for Audiboooks, and was chosen as the top book club pick for Womans World Magazine. Rachel has also been fortunate to narrate titles by some of the romance industry’s heavy hitters like Helena Hunting, Lauren Blakely, Sarina Bowen, Giana Darling (including an Earphones Award for Darling’s Serpentine Valentine), and many more. Rachel has recorded titles with Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Harper Audio, Macmillan Audio, Podium Audio, Blackstone Audio, Mosaic Audio, Audible Studios, and many more.
In addition to her narration work, Rachel is a singer, musician, and theater performer and producer. Most of her career has been focused on the development of new musicals and plays, premiering work in Washington, DC, New York City and Western Massachusetts with the Washington National Opera, The National Yiddish Theater, Holson Productions, and Silverthorne and Chester Theaters. She is also a co-founder and co-director of Play Incubation Collective, where she helps facilitate and build relationships between playwrights, actors, and other theater artists in the New England area, serving as a hands-on partner in the development of new theatrical scripts.
