Biography:
Brickman creates music at the crossroads of dub techno, deep house, and ambient. His sound is built on multilayered textures, dub-style echoes and reverbs, electronic rhythms, and powerful sub-bass foundations — forming a distinctive sonic signature.
The project’s debut release came out in 2010 on Symphonic Silence Inside. Since then, Brickman has collaborated with both Russian and European labels, putting out music on vinyl, CD, and digital platforms. His tracks have been supported in DJ sets by John Digweed, Marco Carola, Hernan Cattaneo, Deepchord, Kirk Degiorgio, and Nadja Lind.
Between 2010 and 2019, Brickman performed live extensively at St. Petersburg venues such as Stackenshneider, Mosaique, Efir, Griboedov, MOD, and Berthold Center, as well as on RTS.FM and Vinyl Jam broadcasts, and at festivals including Abstraction and VPEREDSOMOTRYASHCHIY. He also took part in the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp and composed soundscapes for several art exhibitions.
Since 2022, the project has focused on studio work. To craft his signature sound, Brickman employs both analog and digital synthesizers, samplers, and diverse audio processing techniques.
