The label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] is proud to present its 48th release — the first part of the captivating mini-album First Light, Vol. 1, crafted by three talented musicians from different corners of Europe: Seabra Monkey (@seabra_monkey) from Amsterdam, The Venusian (@the_venusian) from Logroño, and Francesco Tamburrano (@ft-dubtechno) from Venice. This unique collaborative creation merges their creative forces and offers listeners a journey through morning and evening soundscapes, seen through the prism of dub techno and techno.
First Light, Vol. 1 consists of three original tracks, each showcasing the individual style and musical language of each artist, along with two remixes created by the musicians themselves, and a special remix by ODP (the alter ego of Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer), which adds a new layer of depth and unique atmosphere to the album.
Seabra Monkey opens the album with Morning Dew, which awakens the listener like the first rays of morning sunlight piercing through the fog. The sounds evoke a feeling of freshness and the birth of a new day, transporting us to a world of morning dew and melodic yet powerful rhythms.
Francesco Tamburrano presents Poison, a track with deep basslines and dark synths, taking us to the darker side of electronic music. Like poison, the track spreads slowly, enveloping the listener in its hypnotic atmosphere.
The Venusian completes the original works with Code of the Dancefloor, a powerful rhythmic anthem for those seeking the access code to the secret knowledge of the dancefloor. The track’s simple yet intriguing sound textures and dynamic beats create a mesmerizing experience for anyone stepping onto this sonic escalator.
