A descendent of Baba Buddha ji, Muhammad Afzal Ahsan Randhawa, legendary poet of Panjab, wrote this soul-piercing poem on 9th June 1984.
Randhawa was a vocal dissident of the 1947 partition of Panjab and spoke out against india's decision to launch a war against the Sikhs in 1984.
