Everybody knows me as a passionate vinyls collector, my collection mostly includes Electro, Techno, Ambient, IDM, Experimental, House, Industrial and New Beat music.
I started my DJ carreer in 1998 with Techno style highly influenced by Jeff Mills, Detroit Techno music and Birmingham sounds (Surgeon, Regis, Ruskin…). In my early years as DJ I was also influenced by New Beat and Industrial EBM sounds as FRONT242, SA 42, Nitzer ebb and KRATWERK. Simultaneously I started my vinyl collection and created a music association called AREA EBM as it was our main style.
I began performing at local clubs and free parties in the earlies 2000. In 2002, I took the opportunity to play in a mythical Madrid club (SPECKA), Rosy, the club owner known me as Dave, so I decided to be known as DJ DAVE as tribute, which evolved to DJ DAVE AKA ILLUMINATAE. During the next years I DJ at many Madrid clubs: Elanuet Bar, Groove, La Riviera… and also on a club located at the outskirts of Madrid (SALA EVENT) where I shared night with artists as DJ MUERTO (ARCANOID) and DJ PEPO.
Since 2015 I decided to leave the night life and focused my career in local radio shows and electro private parties.
I am currently presenting my new aKa 3KAL DROID MODUL3, specially focused on experimental and electro music. My current influence artists are Gerald Donald (including his main alias: Dopplereffekt, Arpanet, Project STS-31), Drexciya, Carl. A Finlow, Aphex, Arcanoid,
