Bio:
Tomas Jirku began making music in the golden era of minimal and glitch techno and helped to define the genres. Over twenty five years, fifteen albums, sixteen vinyl EPs, and countless remixes and compilations later, he has built a strong repertoire with his exploratory approach to music. After taking a break to focus on developing and exhibiting his experimental photography, he brought both worlds together with his most recent album on Silent Season and live performances which incorporate his otherworldly videos. Jirku's return to music is also marked by the inception of a new project under the alias Machine Emotion which sees him leaning into his longtime love of industrial music to make uncompromising techno and electro.
