This is the 114th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics. These monthly released sessions brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer.
For this month Ginkgo Lanugo is making there debut here on the channel. A pure live set clalled Sonic Conjunction and reflects, as they say, the soundtracks of there lives.
About:
Ginkgo Lanugo (CZ) project was founded in 2019 by Nikola Pavelková and Štěpán Perk. From the beginning, their sound flows between two main styles, Ambient and Techno. Experimental music supplemented with vocals mainly in the Czech language gradually found its way to smaller publishers. They released several singles on foreign labels: Elektrax, Deep Electronics, Melotonin, Apnea, Insectorama... With the track "Jsme Stejní" sung in Czech, they placed 3rd in the Big Seven chart on Radio 1. They performed at several festivals, Povaleč, Transforma, Space X... They are also engaged in soundtrack creation, they created a song for the presentation of Predators at the Comic Con festival. Soundtrack to the computer game Šrot, which will be released in May 2024. Czech ambient/trip-hop song released by Blue Lizard.
About the Session:
We are humbly inviting you into this album that can be described as the soundtrack of our lives. We have engraved it with all aspects of our lives including our 3 year old daughter and her songs. Reflections of conversations, little tunes, harmonies and sounds of real environments frozen in time.
Broken rhythms from endless parties of yesterday are coming back as memories that will eventually vanish in time.

Sonic Conjunction as a studio album was shaped from various parts of our audio tracks, overdubs, lost and found samples, together with live improvising and playing. Vocals were both prerecorded and heavily effected and modulated as well as live-performed. We have collected a large library of audio material and have spent a serious amount of time creating this whole composition and its final shape. Final sound and mastering was done by Marek Hradil.
As the main production tool we have used a PC with Ableton Live together with our unique effect chains and all the possible options the software offers.
