Spring EP was written during the spring of 2021 as Ke Thu started to see some hope at the pandemic ending. 5 tracks that warm your soul for life's little moments. Like brief memories of memorable times in your life, Spring EP is that soundtrack for life's most rewarding feelings. 'Scorched' is optimistic of a new day with its warm tones and positive nature. 'Crossed' conjures up more memories to reflect on with its repeating embers of information. Next, 'Anagram' is a song about our loved ones and remembering them through the isolation times. 'Structure' is the ideal soundtrack to wake up to. with it's thoughtfull charm and reflective abilities, they gently bring you out of a dreamlike state. Lastly, 'Daytime' is the sound of Ke Thu's perfect world. If you close your eyes you can almost picture your deal island scenary.
Ke thu are a Detroit-based musical duo consisting of Steven Stavropoulos and Tim Barrett. Their music is an earnest exploration of techno and everything it is capable of.
