Welcome to a brand new chapter of Deep Electronics. The serie brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This time K4MMERER is back with a brand new mix with music from his serie OWDGO
ABOUT OWDGO 6:
“The Dullness Effect”
This is a one-hour mixed pre-release of the album “The Dullness Effect”, which is Chapter 6 in the series On Why Dark Goes Orange. Chapter 6 continues where chapter 5 finishes, reflecting over the source of the random-random irrationality of man. A concept that stretches even beyond quantum physics and retro-causality, the random-random is about the ability of man to produce a random none-state dependent output - a random-random event. Outside of man this is as far as we know a rarity and as with all things scarce it is a valuable thing, an asset.
So where is the origin to this asset (if it exists)? Well, if it is anywhere to be found it is in the transcend from physical/chemical reactions in our brain to mental processes that produces experiences of all kinds. The physical and the mental are the two separate dimensions of the human mind - the ontology and epistemology of the human mind if you so like - and in the interface between them there might just be a small undefined space for the “random-random” to inject itself. Not much, but enough to sometimes generate the completely unexpected. So, while we humans never will be able to travel our galaxy, cultivate a solar-system, experience exponential knowledge-build or live (almost) forever, we might still compete with the most sophisticated AI not with the brilliance of our mind but with its dullness. As with all the albums in the OWDGO series, chapter 6 is an ambient mesh of electro and electro-mechanical sounds and tunes. “The Dullness Effect” will be released in March 2024.
