About:
Noosa Sound System, is a production and DJ project established in 2020 by Chris H, who curtently resides in Australia. Originally for the North UK where he ran his own label for a while in the early 2000's, Chris' influences date back to the dance floors of Manchester's own Haçienda, and to the fields of Glastonbury. Known more recently for his deep immersive groove driven approach across his new output, he takes inspiration from raw 90s techno, and artists such as the Orb, KLF and FSOL who were at their experimental peak during the early 90s. His latest work can be found pressed on wax with respected labels like Greyscale, Primary Colours, OHM Series, Blackinstock with a few more to follow.
Mix Description:
This mix is what happens when I let my two contradictory influences out to play together unsupervised! I like my techno deep hypnotic and groovy, and my ambient a little floaty and psychedelic! The result of this collision is a bumpy and tripped drift through the imagined space I often like to call the dub-sonic dimension. I'd also like to say Massive thanks to Jeroen for the invite and all he does with Deep Electronics.
