About Manjana:
Developing a unique and incarnated style, Solar Berlin Resident DJ Manjana draws an
impressive ability to browse sounds from atmosphere to groove, from soul to dance.
At early ages she passionately started playing Vinyl. During the last 8 years she set up a
profound digital library which allows her to be flexible by choosing the perfect technology
for every occassion whether it is Lounge, Club, Exhibiton, Open Air- or Corporate Event.
As an expert for delicate and surprising selection, she’s combining pearls of different
electronic genres and decades with a high virtuosity and harmonical context. Her sound
features a wide range of tracks with BPM from 110 to 125 depending on the mood of the
hour - and the location.
From years of effective involvement in contemporary club music, she has built a
repertoire that can effortlessly include melancholic electro as well as hypnotic dance
variations. Her sets are highlighting a solid aesthetical approach and a keen sense for
track selection which leads to subtle dramaturgic progressions.
Selected and pioneering Berlin locations like Club der Visionaere, Anita Berber,
Farbfernseher, Kiosk @ Kater Blau or Rampe have hosted many of her
engagements and residencies.
During the Summer Season 2015 she successfully launched her own monthly party
series “Spielraum“ at the spacious open air club „Rampe“ in Berlin. Alongside she played
with well-known DJ’s like Sammy Dee, Chica Paula, Ray Soo, George Morel, Vera, Move
D., Mwadka, Soumaya Phéline and so on.
