The latest Funkier Session is a good one - this instalment comes from Deezee Wizzard, a DJ and producer from Germany who has done a guest mix for my radio show before (see episode 84 - https://soundcloud.com/evenfunkier/funkier-radio-84). This mix is a 78 minute journey into his brain and through his musical world, and it takes in all sorts - from disco to funk to housier bits, old stuff, new stuff, weird electro kind of stuff and some delights that I'd struggle to put a label on if I tried. It's weird, it's wonderful, but I like it very much - a total embodiment of the Funkier Sounds ethos - it's not about genre, it's all about the vibes… and this one's got vibes coming out of its ears. Get involved, funky people!
