This is "Erased", part of the Disquiet Junto Project 0398: Rauschen Bern.
This project calls for a sound collage based on "rauschen"-like noises.
In this particular case, all noises were synthesized on the basis of Robert Rauschenberg's "Erased de Kooning Drawing" from 1952, and also of the original De Kooning drawing as "recovered" via an infra-red scan.
Sounds were synthesized using the VirtualANS synth, an emulation of the Soviet ANS visual synthesized from the 1930s.
Disquiet Junto 0398: Rauschen Bern will be part of this year's Musikfestival Bern.
