Detroit is not only the city where Techno was born. it is also the place where some of the most beautiful pages of the contemporary House Music have been written.
Detroit’s House music has the most Soul sound ever. It is the most dirty and lo-fi that has ever been heard. It is Black in its pure essence. It is all but commercial. One day I will visit this awkward city and shall be walking among its Art Deco buildings and in its streets. I will cross its low houses neighbors, photographing the ruins of the american dream. For now, with great modesty and respect, i dedicate the dj set to Theo, Moody and the others from The D, immense masters and continuous source of inspiration.
The dj set is named after the book of Julia Reyes Taubman.
