In this episode of The E-Series, Trent Cockerham, CEO of Hospice of the Piedmont, is joined by Caroline Oxford, Medical Social Worker at Hospice of the Piedmont. Caroline brings with her a wealth of knowledge related to helping communities better understand and engage with those facing serious illness. Together, Trent and Caroline will discuss universal challenges that caregivers face and how those in the caregiving role can be affirmed and benefit from intentional transparency with others.

Guest Bio: Caroline Oxford attended Appalachian State University and earned a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School. She has worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Hospice of the Piedmont for the past 6 years.
