What do you get when you put an attempted musical theater career, love for makeup & fashion, and passion for gender/LGBTQIA+ social issues into a blender? A drag queen! Hence, the birth of Cordelia Facade. The brainchild and alter-ego of Jake, Cordelia is a "Trophy-Wife-On-A-Mission", bringing both beauty and brains to the stage. I love creating high concept numbers/mixes that incorporate intricate looks, character illusions, comedy, and pop culture references to really bring my performances to the next level. Last summer, in collaboration with Beck Rogers, I developed a color-blocked rainbow Pride photo series as a celebratory art piece during the initial “first wave” of the pandemic. We are currently in development for a second iteration of this project for this year’s Pride.
