Given his new #LP, “Music For My Friends” is essentially this year’s hip-hop summer soundtrack, we had to get to this man on the show. Along with the new LP, ‘Zoo is fresh off his performance at the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival #BKHipHopFest and his incredible show / album release party at the infamous #BlueNote in #NYC with a 6-piece band, so there was certainly a lot to talk about. Sky gets into his new label, First Generation Rich, and his new partnership with Empire Distribution - which looks to be extremely promising with artists such as Kay Cola and others. Given the appearance by Westside Gunn on “Luxury,” we chat about the relationship Sky and Wes have formed over the years, as well as his penchant from bringing new producers into the fold - including his work on #MFMF with up and comers MarcNfinit & Praise out of the #DMV.
