At a young age Maryanna became addicted to meth. During that time she knew deep down she was living a life that was not hers. She committed to quitting, applied to the University of Maryland, graduated with a bachelors in health and human services and the rest is history. She is now the executive director of Dream Queen Foundation where she leads workshops, networking and groups. As a public speaker on empowerment, achievement and leadership she is now dedicated to teaching teen girls the importance of responsibility and leadership in order to create powerful women leaders in today’s world.
