As a kid, Jenn Walton lived on the route of the Manitoba Marathon. While watching the race, she thought running it would be pretty cool.
Fast forward a couple of decades, and that dream had basically come and gone as many childhood fantasies/dreams tend to do.
However, when she saw her younger brother finish his first marathon she couldn't help but wonder if she could do it as well.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
