What are the odds of getting a college scholarship for a sport you never played until your last weeks of high school?
Sounds next to impossible, but that is exactly what Rochelle Basil did. She started running competitively the same time she was finishing school, and ended up coming to the US on a track scholarship.
Since making it to the States, running hasn't been all smooth sailing and she even took a 4 year hiatus from the sport before she had finished her undergraduate degree.
But now, she's back with full force!
