This week we discussed the hate crime that occurred in New Zealand regarding Hoda al-Jamaa, a 17 y/o Muslim girl, who had her hijab ripped off and was attacked- earlier this month. We also discussed the meaning and importance of wearing the hijab in Islam, and why Muslim women who choose to wear the hijab are constantly targeted.
