October 22, 2018 / 19:48 / Greenwich Foot Tunnel / I decided to record this place as although it has no significance to me personally, it represents exploration - something which I have embraced everywhere I have lived in the past / I love the freedom of getting on my bike and cycling through the city, sometimes with a destination in mind, but other times just to get lost and see somewhere new / In this case, I had seen the tunnel on a map and couldn’t quite imagine it in my head so I went there one day after work / I love the way people can be heard coming long before you can see them / The tunnel distorts sound in a strange way too / Sometimes when something you have heard coming from a long way off finally appears, it is different from what you imagined it would be //
