Description

NOTE: This episode of Hoopsville was recorded and scheduled to be released before games on Tuesday, November 22. However we will unable to get the show turned around in time. We realize that means some references are dated.

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we sat down with not only two brothers who are coaching against one another but fans may not be able to figure out who is coaching which team. Plus, in Division III there is always more going on than just athletics - we celebrate the true student-athlete.

On the latest episode of Hoopsville, Dave McHugh chats with Adam and Ryan Van Zelst. They played hoops together Albright and later were assistant coaches for the Lions. Now they are facing off against one another as head coaches. How will anyone tell them apart? And will this happen more than once?

And one of the captains of the Washington & Lee women's basketball team is more than just a great teammate. Tahri Phillips gives back in spades to the college community - wait until you hear all that she is involved with. And she is the only basketball player in DIII (and one of two athletes in the division) to be awarded a Rhodes Scholarship this season. Find out what Phillips is studying and whether she finds sleep every day.

We also scan the headlines, note results, answer your questions, and much more.

Guests include:
- Adam and Ryan Van Zelst, PSU-Abington and Arcadia head coaches respectively
- Tahri Phillips, W&L senior, co-captain, and Rhodes Scholar
