On this week’s episode, we had on 3 amazing guests to our show. Elizabeth Hennion Pierce, Deborah Golden, and Julie Mocabee. They represented Air Force, Navy and Marines. It was such a nice conversation to get to know how being a spouse in each branch is a little different, but we are all in the same military family together. As part of the fun, since of course when branches come together we had to have a little competition, we asked the ladies some really hard military trivia.

Here are the questions, how many of them did you know?

1. When is your branches b-day? (Army June 14, Navy October 13, Marine November 10, Airforce September 18)

2. Based on Population which base is the largest? (Fort Bragg)

3. How many US Presidents have served? (29)
4. Do you know your branch motto? (Army: This we’ll defend, Navy:NO OFFICIAL but unofficially Not Self, But country, Marines: Semper Fidelis: Always Faithful, Airforce: Aim High, Fly Fight Win)

5. How many times has the USA declared war? (5)
6. How many 5 star generals have there been? (5)

7. How many military branches does the USA have? (7 Army, Navy, Marine, Coast Guard, Airforce, National Guard, and Space Force)

8. Can you translate the following acronyms:
SFRG-Solider and Family Readiness Group
PCS =Permanent Change of Station
NOK- Next of Kin
JAG- Judge Advocate General corps
MRE- Meal Ready to Eat
PX- Post Exchange
AAFES- Army and Air Force Exchange Service

We had so much fun getting to know these amazing spouse with stories and backgrounds that were all very different. They all had some amazing advice for new or been around the blocks a few times spouses.
