We were joined today by our wonderful guest Evie King, she is a fellow military spouse and the board president for InDependent which is a non-profit across the nation that provides resources and connection for military spouse to help them find and embrace their wellness. She chatted with us today about how just because there are well known and expected rules when it comes to wellness we have the choice to say no and choose and make ones that actually fit our families. We discussed a few of those specifically and how they either work or don’t work for our family. She also mentioned a really great event that InDependent hosts annually (this is their 7th year) for military spouses everywhere.
