Welcome to the Military
If you are reading this we here at Ruck Up Buttercup Sabrina Johannes and Ashley Brown hope that you have found us from a dear friend or a group on Facebook. We hope that if you are new to the military family that you soon find your tribe and are able to connect. We are both strong advocates that the sooner you put yourself out there the easier it will be.
Being the new spouse in the unit, or even just having to learn the way of the military for the first time is hard. There are going to be times where you feel like you have landed on an alien planet. We were all there once. We all had to learn the ranks, the acronyms, and how to use the amazing resources available to us as military spouses.
We genuinely hope that the discussion you are listening to this week on our podcast with Kami Sutton feels like a warm hug. We want to express our feelings and show that we have all been there. We want to really help you make the adjustment in the best way possible.
