On this episode we were joined by Hannah, she was so amazing to come on to our show and bring awareness to some minorities in the military community. Her family has experienced this first hand. As Jewish Members of the military community there are often hurdles and struggles that the average military member may not encounter. Hannah brought to light some of those challenges and how her and her spouse are doing great things to simply bring awareness to the issues. They simply want to see people who are part of the minorities in the military having their physical needs (including food) being met, but also that there is enough of a level of respect to simply ensure their family will grow up in a space they can feel safe.
We are more than most communities a Melting Pot of Traditions. We need to be much more aware of how we can be inclusive, and learn amazing things from one another.
