Audible Women Mix International Women’s Day 2018
"Audible Women was founded by Gail Priest in 2014 with the basic intention of developing a directory of female-identifying artists working experimentally with sound. It was designed to be a niche compliment to other fantastic female-focussed activities (Listen, Female Pressure, Her Noise, Lady in Noyz) that perhaps dealt more with debate and discussion, or more widely or
narrowly covering particularly genres. It was intended to be Australian, but very rapidly grew to international with an amazing level of interest from women working experimentally across the globe."
