Psychic sisterhood and wistful wanderlust are the twin energies feeding lush ceremonial dream-pop duo Purple Pilgrims. Their debut album ‘Eternal Delight’ was released by LA based Not Not Fun records in early 2016.
Their piece 'Lamentations in Reverse' was recorded in Autumn at their family home in an isolated corner of Hauraki, NZ using synthesizer, field-recordings and vocals. Since they began spending time in the bush, a recurring theme in their work has been the awkward meeting point between the ever-present world of modern technology, and perpetual, vital nature.
