@Akioka is the solo vocal loop project of Tess Darcy from Perth, WA. Creating ethereal, other-worldly layers of sound over experimental visual loops, paired with stunning visuals when she plays live, Darcy's unique sounds cross a diverse rang of genres including dub, drone and soul. As a key member of Perth’s experimental electronic scene Akioka has played experimental music gigs across Perth with acts like furchick, Basic Mind while also releasing her ‘Right Here’ cassette on great Perth ambient, experimental music label Pouring Dream in September last year.
