Today, we cover the public outrage over budget cut proposals being made by the Evergreen School District. It was revealed at the last school board meeting that the overpaid district administrators were paid EVEN MORE in the form of supplemental contracts during the teacher’s strike at the beginning of the year, raising the question of whether they were incentivized to negotiate with the union in bad faith.
First, we’ll provide you a rundown of just how many hundreds of thousands of dollars these district administrators make, and demonstrate how their salaries have been increasing every year at the same time they’ve been cutting vital roles and activities at the district---all while claiming to be underfunded.
