This week's book shows the limitations of only have 120 or so pages to work with. Fantastic description is marred down by a "who done it?" that really only has 2 suspects without much motivation, then gives up a third in the final chapter. It has great use of a first person narrator very aware of his surrounds though, and establishes the parents involved maybe better than any story before it.
